Deleting your Slotina account
Last updated: 4 November 2026
This page explains how to delete a Slotina account and its data — in the Slotina app for iOS and Android (io.slotina.app) or at app.slotina.io — what is deleted, and what we keep and for how long. Slotina is operated by Belavin Limited, 6 Salstar Close, Birmingham, B6 4PP, United Kingdom.
1. Who can delete what
- The owner of a venue can delete the venue's account. This deletes the venue and every login of its team.
- A team member (for example a manager or a host) cannot delete the venue. To have your own login deleted, ask the owner to remove you under Settings › Team, or write to us (section 4).
- Guests of a restaurant have no Slotina account. If you booked, ordered or paid at a venue and want your data deleted, see section 7.
2. Before you delete
Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. Before you start:
- Cancel your subscription in the console under Settings › Payments › Subscription and billing. It ends with the month you have paid for. While it is still running, the account cannot be deleted.
- Deal with the guests still expected: future bookings, event tickets and private parties. The account cannot be deleted while any of them is still open, so that nobody arrives at a closed door. The deletion screen tells you what is still open.
- Download what you want to keep. The deletion screen offers your guest book as a CSV file and, where you use the tips features, your tips record — in Great Britain you may be required to keep it for three years. Sales reports and working hours can be exported under Reports and Rota.
3. How to delete the account
In the Slotina app:
- Sign in as the owner.
- Open the menu (⋮) on the host stand and tap Account — or go to Settings › Account.
- Enter your password.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
- Tap Delete the restaurant and my account.
On the web:
- Sign in at app.slotina.io as the owner.
- Go to Settings › Team & account › Account.
- Optionally tell us why you are leaving.
- Enter your password and type DELETE to confirm.
- Click Delete the restaurant and my account.
The account is deleted at once and you are signed out.
If you signed up but never created a venue, you can delete your login on the setup page with Delete this account.
4. If you cannot sign in or prefer to write
E-mail hello@slotina.io from the address of the account and tell us which venue it is. We reply within 30 days. If you cannot use the account's e-mail address, we may ask you to verify your identity before we delete anything. If the subscription is still running, we cancel it at the end of the paid month.
5. What is deleted
Deletion immediately and permanently removes: the venue's profile, settings, menus and pictures; its rooms and tables; all bookings, waiting-list entries, events and tickets, private-dining enquiries, pre-orders and orders; the guest book, with its notes, allergies and dietary details; messages; payment records held in Slotina; the rota, working hours, pay rates and tips record; the activity log; and every login of the team, with their push tokens and two-step sign-in settings.
6. What we keep, and for how long
- A deletion record: the venue's name, the country, how many bookings it had, how long the account existed and the reason for leaving, if you gave one. Your e-mail address is in it only as a shortened hash that cannot be turned back into the address. Our team also receives an e-mail with the venue's name, its country, its booking and guest counts and your reason. We do not currently delete these after a fixed period; they show us why venues leave and prove that the deletion happened.
- A record of the deletion offer: a line in our audit log saying whether the tips record was offered and downloaded before the deletion, with the owner's e-mail address, so that we can show it was offered.
- Billing records and invoices for your subscription: for 6 years from the end of the financial year to which they relate, as UK tax law requires. Stripe keeps its own records of the payments under its own terms.
- An administrative audit trail: one line for each action our staff performed on the account, including the staff member's e-mail address. It is kept after the account is gone, because it is the only way we can show that a deletion was carried out properly, and by whom.
- Technical records, such as expired sign-in links and security counters: up to 90 days.
- Backups: deleted data may remain in our database provider's encrypted backups for a short period until they are overwritten; it is never restored from them.
No guest's name, contact details or booking survives the deletion in Slotina.
Payments your guests made to your own Stripe account remain in your Stripe account; Stripe is not deleted with Slotina. You manage that account with Stripe directly.
7. Guests of a restaurant
Guests do not have Slotina accounts. The restaurant you booked with decides what it keeps about you; it can erase your details from its guest book at any time. To have your data deleted, please contact the restaurant. You can also write to hello@slotina.io, naming the restaurant: we will pass your request on to the restaurant without delay and help it to answer. Every message from a restaurant through Slotina contains a link with which you can stop further messages.
